What they do:
RCAP assists eligible individuals and families in Massachusetts with affordable housing, homeless prevention, workforce development, family unification and self-sufficiency services.

What they do:
DTA distributes food stamps, TAFDC, EAEDC, emergency assistance and referrals.
The DTA office has a satellite office in Athol at First Call for Help, 423 Main Street. The satellite office is staffed Wednesdays from 9:00-5:00 pm with a clerk who is able to answer questions, hand out paperwork/applications & schedule appointments.

What they do:  Child Care Outlook is the resource and referral agency for Franklin County, Hampshire County, and the North Quabbin region. Child Care Outlook helps parents find quality child care and helps eligible parents pay for child care expenses. All services are free.

Child Care Outlook has an extensive database with information on child care providers such as cost, hours, curriculum, available openings, and provider education.  We can also help with parenting information!  This referral service is free, and you can use it as many times as you need.  All the information you provide is confidential and will not be shared.  We hope to give you the tools to make an informed decision about what child care provider to use, and we do not provide recommendations for providers in our database.

Child Care Outlook also has some funding available to help parents pay for child care.

NOAH, the Neighborhood of Affordable Housing, is an East Boston-based community development corporation structured to collaborate with and support residents and communities in their pursuit of affordable housing strategies, environmental justice, community planning, leadership development, and economic development opportunities. NOAH eagerly partners with those residents, neighborhood entities, municipalities or groups that share similar values and goals in order to improve standards of living, build community, and create social/economic opportunities, especially for low - and moderate-income persons, families and disadvantaged groups or areas. NOAH's goals and programs are built on a commitment to equality, fairness, diversity and respect for all people. They may be able to assist with paying utility bills, first and last month's rent and security deposits.
